Relationship Intentions, Affirmations and Prayers in the Golden Light of Spring
With the returning Light of Springtime those items on your To Do List that may have been hidden in the shadows of a long dark Winter may now be coming into focus. The Season of Spring brings Light to the Darkness, and Illuminates the Path of Reconnection with Our True Power and Potential. This is no time for fear, hesitation, procrastination or denial!
As the Solar Plexus Chakra is restored to its fullest vibrancy for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, the energy of the Golden Light of the Sun increases and carries with it the energies of Courage, Confidence, Clarity, Certainty and Commitment to our Truth ~ and there’s just nowhere to hide!
Relationships with friends, family and loved ones are coming into the Light at this time. Some questions to ask ourselves right now may include… What patterns of behavior and belief systems in my relationships are no longer serving me well? What new thought forms, beliefs and patterns of behavior would allow me to live more in alignment with my higher self? How can I further distance myself from the energies of domination and polarization and move toward greater balance, equality and collaboration in all of my relationships?
If you’d like to avoid relationship confusion it’s very important to be honest with yourself, and others. If it seemed easier to avoid confrontation, suffer in silence or even create a secret life during the cold, dark months of Winter, now is definitely the time to come clean. Avoidance may have been easier back then, but it most likely was not the higher pathway. The truth is, the sooner we consciously face the challenges in a relationship, the easier it will become to update outdated communication patterns, belief systems and behaviors. The higher pathway may not be the path of least resistance, but truth and clarity always bring deeper peace for everyone involved, in the long run.
I invite you to sit quietly now, and give yourself a moment to reflect on what it is you appreciate most, and least, about one of your current relationships, and what you would like to see happen next…
Here are Three Simple Questions to ask yourself which can help determine whether a relationship with friends, family or loved ones may be in need of a Tune-Up, a Time-Out, or perhaps even a Completion.

Below are a few examples of Conscious Intentions, Affirmations and Prayers for Relationships that have come up in my recent Body Wisdom sessions with clients…
I feel a gentle, warm glow around my heart chakra, and I am grateful. My intention is that my heart always be full of love, and my relationships with friends, family and loved ones always be loving respectful and supportive. I am a creative being, and I intend to create love all around myself and those in my community. Only Peaceful, loving relationships are welcome in my life now. This is my Sacred Commitment to myself. I am very grateful for all the life lessons I have learned so far, and intend to not have to repeat any of those lessons ever again. ~ Sarah
My entire solar plexus area has always felt very tight and it has been difficult to take a deep breath at times. I have always felt powerless in my relationship with my father. My Conscious Intention is to reclaim my power as the Creator of My Life. My Thoughts, Words and Intentions create ripples of energy all around me that travel out to others and into the field of oneness which is my true home. The power of my Intentions supports my full and complete healing of this issue, and my ability to use my voice to speak my truth is strengthening. I feel the tension in my solar plexus is already beginning to diminish. ~ Faison
I feel sharp stabbing pains throughout my throat and chest. My partner of six years suddenly left me a month ago and my heart is hurting. I understand that positive thoughts are always the best medicine. My Intention is that my friends, family and loved ones wish only good things for me, and that my prayers be infused with no fear, only love, especially self-love. I am learning to trust myself, speak my truth, and set better personal boundaries in all of my relationships. I know my heart will heal. I respect and love myself. I believe in myself. I know I will love and be loved again. ~ Skye
I’m feeling persistent sharp pains in my left shoulder and have suspected for some time that my partner was cheating on me. My stomach is also very upset and I have a terrible headache and a stiff neck. My Intention is to speak my truth, ask for clarity, and trust that I am a part of a greater field of love that connects us all. I am worthy of love and my field of love grows stronger as my thoughts and words create my new reality. I am committed to holding steady on my path of conscious intention to create positive change in my life and in the world. ~ Jenna
I’ve been feeling burning sensations all over my body. My partner has been verbally and physically abusive to me for years, and I can’t take it anymore. My Intention is to trust that I deserve to be loved and treated with love and r e s p e c t. I believe with love in my heart anything is possible. My intention is that I will be living in a new home space soon, where I feel safe, appreciated, trusted and respected. I ask for Courage to believe in myself again, and to trust that I already have everything I need to create a life that I love. That is my prayer for today. ~ Ryan
So, how might you determine whether a relationship with a friend, family member or loved one is in need of a reboot? Deep insight may be gained from the wisdom of the body, which goes far beyond sensuality or sexuality, and is uncontaminated by any emotional roller coasters or mental distraction.
The mind may play its tricks and the heart may lead us astray, but the wisdom of the body never lies.
The following exercise will guide you to Connect with the Wisdom of the Body, Create MORE of What You Intend to Create in Your Relationships, and LESS of What You Don’t!
If you experience any tightness or tension in some area of your body when thinking of this person, breathe into that feeling. What is causing that feeling? Is there something about the dynamics of this relationship that you would like to change? How would you like to engage with this person differently? Is there something you would like to say to this person that you have not yet been able to say? Is this a relationship that you wish to draw closer to you, or possibly step away from?
Now consider a relationship with a friend or spouse that you feel is respectful and nurturing. If you feel a sense of openness and lightheartedness in your body, you may wish to allow that feeling to gently expand all around you. Enjoy that feeling for a moment. What is it that you most appreciate about this relationship? Is there anything you would like to say to this person that you have not yet been able to express? Is this a relationship that you wish to nurture and sustain?
Consider any relationships in your life that you would like to better understand, update, or bring to peaceful completion. Focus on a personal or professional relationship that you feel may be in need of a Tune-Up, a Time-Out, or perhaps even a Completion. Sit back, take your time… breathe deeply into this, and allow the wisdom of the body to offer its profound perspective and inspiration for positive change. What is holding you back from speaking your truth? What is that withholding of truth costing you? What is the specific change you wish to create in that relationship, and by when?
Every thought is a prayer, and whether we have thoughts of worry or of thoughts of hope, the energy of our thoughts is carried out into the Universe. Our body wisdom can guide us to create Conscious Intentions, Affirmations and Prayers that will direct our energy toward the specific outcomes we intend to create in our relationships, in our lives and in the world.
